Fishing with crankbaits requires a specific approach, as a crankbait is designed with a specific swimming action and can reach a certain depth. The tip action of the rod is therefore important. A tip that is too stiff will negate the action, and the maximum depth will not be reached. Within our range, we have three models. In the table below, you can see which rod is suitable for a specific crankbait.

Shallow crankbaits are often used against and between plants. You will regularly need to knock plants off the hook. This requires a specific action (thinnest stripe)
