Urus7 has been battle-tested in the outdoors for almost 30 years. It is not the lightest in our line but It’s built strong. Reliably breathable and waterproof. Made to perform in harsh conditions. Made to endure years of use.

As a family of specialists, we have built Urus7 to be a workhorse.

NextLife

This version includes an afterlife plan – a plan that gives you a refund when returning the product to us for upcycling. In the end, only the tiniest fittings of these trousers will ever go to waste. At the end of its service life, it will be upcycled into hats, bags, and spare parts.

The New Pocket Design

Two water-resistant incline pockets are positioned for easy access. The new YKK® AquaGuard zippers run more smoothly, making them easier to open and close.

Part of the new design includes the potential integration of our WizTool magnets and/or pin-on reel.

Smart waterproof side pocket with protective overfold - keeps your essentials dry in heavy rain. The pocket expands as you fill it, giving you extra space only when you need it, without adding bulk.

Expandable waterproof Side pockets. Alignment of expectations: Watertight if zipped securely and not submerged. Despite the watertight design we recommend not to consider the pockets as waterproof storage. The pocket lining is partly waterproof meaning that it will not drain. Expect condensation. Further protect your phone/electronics. An integrated belt upgrade: High-tensile webbing paired with a Duraflex® click-release buckle delivers uncompromising strength with instant adjustability.

The essential of waterproof happiness:

Think of the Urus trousers as a house. Without a solid foundation, nothing works as it should.

Your comfort starts from the inside - and that part is your job.

Whatever comes from the outside — rain, snow, waves, or harsh winds - Urus will shield you.

The partnership is simple: you wear a sweat-wicking base layer, and Urus does the rest. When the temperature drops or your activity changes, add a mid layer, preferably wool or a wool blend, to keep

the balance just right.

How does the shell protect you?

The Urus7 waterproof fabric consists of three parts:

Water repellency (DWR) -a chemical treatment that makes water bead up. We treat the threads before the fabric is woven. This creates a strong, long-lasting effect.

Shell. Woven fabric – a strong Taslan woven polyamide material. The fabric is laminated with a breathable, waterproof membrane.

Membrane – keeps rain out while allowing moisture to escape. The membrane has microscopic pores: small enough to keep raindrops out, but large enough to let moisture escape.

What makes the inside so important?

Inside, the new Urus lining captures moisture as vapor and moves it out through the membrane. a mesh panel boost airflow, working like small pumps to stop damp from turning into drops (because the

membrane can only move vapor, never liquid).

Put on a sweat-wicking trouser as mentioned above, and what seems complicated suddenly feels effortless.

The trousers take over - keeping you dry, comfortable.

Layer it right with wool or a wool blend, and you’ll be ready for anything - maybe even singing in the rain.

Environment:

Urus is strong and long lasting. The choice of materials will make sure it will outlive most competitors. Durability is the most sensible when it comes to limiting the climate impact.
