Insulation

Artificial, 100% polyester insulation. Also called imitation silk or artificial down. A thicker, continuous garment that looks good, is strong and durable. It warms you and is stretchy, which, combined with the outer layer and lining, provides excellent, unprecedented air permeability, allowing heat to be wicked away from the body. The lining stays in place, so no cold spots occur. The synthetic filling is quick-drying and insulates, even when wet (something natural down can barely achieve).

Pockets

Two concealed vertical pockets on the front, placed at chest height. Carefully adjusted in depth and with finished seams for protection against water. The design of the pockets protects the fish from loose zippers when the fish is held against the jacket for, for example, a photo. Two concealed zippered pockets, finished seams for protection against water. Zippered compartment on the inside. Each cleverly designed, secure and easily accessible.

Zippers

YKK® Aluminum alloy zippers offer the advantage of lightweight aluminum, but they are insensitive to moisture, temperature, humidity, friction, acid, alkaline, etc.

Material

Outer: The Geoff Anderson Barbarus Asimi Jacket is made from an innovative material that offers excellent protection against the elements. A durable and strong polyamide material with superior waterproofing, breathable qualities and heat-dissipating qualities. The material allows excess heat and moisture to be wicked away without affecting the waterproofing, keeping you dry and comfortable all day long. Water column: 10,000 mm (iso0811) – or as Geoff Anderson promises: guaranteed waterproof.
