The latest generation of the EXCELER LT reel has received a radical makeover: the structure has been redesigned to improve both performance and reliability. Both the body and rotor are still made from Daiwa ’s exclusive carbon composite, ZAION V, but have been completely redesigned to offer even greater lightness, smoothness, and strength. The rotor is now of the AIRDRIVE type: thanks to a reduction in the weight of the rotating mass and an aerodynamic design inspired by spherical shapes, the new Exceler offers a better feel and higher sensitivity during retrieval due to reduced inertia. The new AIRDRIVE solid bail has a shape that helps prevent knots, even at low line tension. It is lighter than before, but at the same time more durable than the previous generation. The new ATD-L drag system makes fighting a fish even safer: the improved progressiveness reduces the risk of hook pulls and helps you keep thin lines better under control.
