The Aldebaran BFS's remarkably lightweight casting performance is delivered by the FTB (Finesse Tune Braking) system. This is a combination of a centrifugal brake with magnets, working in harmony with the ultralight MGL III spool to control braking. The addition of S3D spool design and SilentTune technology further enhance performance. Adjusted to the lowest setting with the external dial, casting friction is reduced to a minimum. The Aldebaran BFS offers even more than remarkable casting performance. Inside the heart of the reel, Micromodule Gear and X-SHIP deliver smooth, powerful, and efficient winding power. Additionally, the overall weight is reduced by using a HAGANE Body made of magnesium and Ci4+.
