The Van Staal® VS Series reels have been the benchmark for durability and reliability for 30 years. The VS X2 Series is built on the VS foundations of simplicity and functionality and made from the best available materials for the No Limitations™ angler.

The X2 retains all the features the VS Series is known for, with significant improvements from top to bottom. New sizes round out the portfolio, from sheltered bays to offshore tuna areas. The new unibody design increases both strength and sealing, while the longer handle, power knob, and power drag knob provide more cranking power and higher drag pressure. The oversized clutch is now located on the pinion side, resulting in direct hook sets. With the smaller and faster reels, inshore anglers can now also experience the benefits of the VS X2.
