After developing the Ahku, Flada, Leka, Meri and Tiraphene rod series, AAVA wanted to create a new series that is completely focused on specific fishing styles, techniques and needs, rather than on the target species.

Tyyli rods are designed with a specific fishing style or need in mind. The Tyyli series includes rods for various hardbait fishing styles, finesse rods for Ned Rig and Drop Shot, and multi-piece rods for hiking and travel. The blanks are made of high-modulus graphite combined with graphene-reinforced resin, making the rods lightweight, sensitive, and with a fast recovery action.

The actions of the rods vary considerably because they are designed for different applications. For example, finesse rods are very fast with a sensitive tip to ensure you never miss a bite. Hardbait rods, on the other hand, are somewhat softer, preventing fish from unhooking, even with small treble hooks. All components have been carefully selected for the different styles, from handle lengths to guide size.
