This is the reason why these Nayat hairs are soft and translucent. Nayat is longer a bit stiffer than Icelandic Sheep Hair. The hair has a slight crinkle for extra movement of the fibers and is very easy to tie in. This Nayat has a nice naturel taper, perfect when tying minnow style predator streamers.
The Niklaus Bauer Premium Nayat XL is also perfect for tying big pike flies and can also be used for perch, asp, sea bass streamers and Salmon flies. Nayat XL is suitable for most fresh and saltwater patterns.
