Description
This is the perfect tube for your pike flies. Hard enough to withstand the fierce teath of big pike, but just soft enough to fit well on your needle while tying. Gently warm it with a lighter or candle to make it a bit softer when pushing it on your needle. When doing this you also increase the diameter in the rear for yout big single hook to sit well within the tube.
The Bauer Pike Tubes are perfect for tying predator tube flies. Due to their large inner diameter, they can be pulled onto wire or hard mono leaders, which is absolutely great for rigging your flies quickly. Your Bauer Pike Rig for example will fit with these tubes. The larges inner diameter allows pulling many common predator hooks into the tube. You won’t always need an additional silicone tube.
