There are many Amadous on the market, but the unique RH Amadou is hand selected and produced in a painstaking process. After processing the basic material (tinder fungus) it is mounted on to a leather backing and has a carrier ring attached to it. Our Amadou de Luxe has an unmatched quality, but our Amadou Supreme material is hand selected for a second time ensuring that only the thickest, densest, absorbent material is used. The dense pores of the Amadou absorb moisture from a soaked fly and it can be used again immediately.
