Taylor created the Revolution Z Fly Reel Slate Grey with a powerful carbon-fibre/stacked/sealed drag system, flawless ergonomics, beautiful aesthetics, the optimal size and weight, and a focus on all the small details that make a fly fishing reel great. The Taylor Revolution Z Fly Reel Slate Grey is constructed from 6061 bar stock aluminium with a truly revolutionary ultra-light carbon fibre frame. Every reel size features a drag system perfectly crafted according to the needs of the reel. The 4-6wt features the smallest drag chamber, created to be strong yet light with 10 lbs of maximum drag. The 7-9wt and 10-12wt feature a larger sized drag chamber with up to 15 lbs of maximum drag.
Carbon Fibre Frame
The Taylor Revolution Z Fly Reel Slate Grey features a first in its class carbon fibre frame! Carbon fibre weighs up to 50% less than aluminium. Carbon fibre has superior stiffness and rigidity compared to aluminium. Carbon fibre can withstand greater levels of torque without changing shape.
Inlay Ergo Handle
The handle position on the Taylor Revolution Z Fly Reel Slate Grey lies on the inside of the spool arbour vs the outside. This creates a more ergonomic position for the hand and fingers. It also allows for faster retrieve rates and easier spool palming.
Stacked Sealed Carbon Drag
The Taylor Revolution Z Fly Reel Slate Grey features a sealed, stacked, carbon fibre drag system. A quality sealed drag protects the reel from damage and exposure. Stacked carbon fibre is an optimal material when it comes to heat dispersion.
