Keeping warm and comfortable is essential. That is why Geoff Anderson introduced body Mapping. They have studied how the body works when you cast and/or exercise in general, and what the different parts of the body need. Based on the findings, Geoff Anderson developed WizWool, like it is used in the Geoff Anderson WizWool 150 Pullover Blue, with three fabrics that work together, custom-made for outdoor activities.
WizWool 150 serves the purpose of enhancing the comfort of transporting moisture away from the skin. In combination with the Geoff Anderson midlayers it helps regulate your body temperature, regardless of the type of weather. The WizWool 150 from the Geoff Anderson WizWool 150 Pullover Blue is a soft, breathable, odour reducing, merino wool garment with a highly durable synthetic exterior. A functional base layer, made with the healthiest fibres, which gives a milder skin contact, and allows for a unique sweat and heat transport. Flat seam construction reduces bulk and irritation when layering. WizWool 150 is a next-to-skin layer for lightweight moisture management during stop and go activities.
Fabrics
WizWool 150 includes three fabrics:
- Polartec Powergrid fabrics:
A geometric construction to generate targeted touch points with a patented bi-component design. The surface absorbs sweat vapor and transfers it to the outside for an efficient evaporation. The grid design also creates open air channels that improve breathability dramatically.
- Polartec® Power Wool:
A revolutionary, bi-component knit fabric that combines the best of both natural and synthetic fibres, all without blending. The industry standard of blending wool and synthetic yarns together often hinders the greater performance qualities of each material. Power Wool™’s advanced knit construction places each distinct fibre where it can work to its highest potential. This hybrid design is made with a soft, odour reducing, merino wool base and a highly durable synthetic exterior. The best of both threads!
- Italian made Merino blend:
Delivers the classic next-to-skin comfort, warmth and wicking. Comfortable, odour resistant, durable, and retains heat when wet. The synthetic part adds to durability and prevents the wool from shrinking. Advanced synthetics on the outer surface of Polartec® Power Wool™ transfer moisture out while enhancing durability and resilience. Merino wool Power Wools patented bi-component knit optimizes base layer performance in more diverse conditions and levels of activity.
